Down in this basement kitchen , where light is an issue . Putting a high gloss tile and units in makes the light bounce around the darkest parts of the room . Red , black and white are very much the style at the moment .

If your floor levels are so far out , then they will need to be prepared to a standard , that is good enough for tiling ,

Underfloor heating also needs a layer of screed / latex , this is a barrier so out trowels do not break the wires / system .
